Matthew was in need of a new hat. Reason 1 - He got a new winter jacket for Christmas so the previous hat didn't match. Reason 2 - In an attempt to wash his previous hat I managed to shrink it so that it might fit a doll, if you stretched it. So this is the fine end result. The outside of the hat is merino wool and the inside is alpaca, very soft and very warm. Happy Birthday Matthew,even though I am posting this waaaay late!
PS - the hat model is Chandler who is a very good sport :-)

Sharp looking hat, very stylish. I could imagine that alpaca is so soft, you'll have to hit the Sheep & Wool Festival at Contoocook Fairgrounds this Mother's Day, so many knitters there.
