This is what pathetic looks like

Look in Websters. You'll probably see this picture. Today is day 6 on the fever count. Poor kid is sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. The good news though is that he's the only one that's sick and we hope it stays that way!

Time to put the summer toys away

The state started to draw down the lake 1st Monday of October. Although there is still a fair amount of water coming over the dam, all the boards are out, and we appear to be at winter level. So the boats has been put to bed and the boys' thoughts have switched to snowmobiling.

Eenie, meenie, miinie, mo...

We'd like to do something different than the basic "colonial casing" for the trim. These are some of the ideas that our contractor has come up with.

Sheetrock in place

Here are some of the rooms after the sheetrock went up. They did a great job blending the old and new.

Dry wall hanging

The sheetrock hangers worked Saturday and got a good start on teh living room.

Living room door

We found this pretty door that coordinates quite well with our existing front door. This door allows us to enter/exit the new living room by way of the farmer porch.

Pretty windows

The 2 half round window openings are framed in and ready to go as soon as the windows arrive. Evidently they are taking the scenic route to NH as they were not on the truck with the rest of our windows.
