Survivor - Feline Edition

Shelby returned home Sunday after being missing for 23 days! She is very thin, very hungry, and very happy to be home with her people. You can imagine how surprised Tom was when he went to see "what that noise was that sounded like a cat crying" and found Miss Shelby begging at the door to come in. She will definitely be getting some extra TLC for the next couple weeks while we try to get some weight back on her. Any ideas?

Where to put the swing?

The farmers porch really ties the old and new together. These posts are the temporary ones. I can't wait to see how it looks when we get our permanent posts and railings.

Dressing up the garage

Tom decided to add this shed roof to our existing garage. It's a nice detail that ties in nicely with the new garage on the other side of the house.

Pie Throwing

Tige Boats won the Best of Booth Award for this very fun pie throwing booth. Each day Tige conned, I mean asked nicely, someone from the watersports industry to sit in the booth. This is Rick Stocks, founder of the INT League, who was a great sport. Rumor was that Tige went through 35 cans of whipped cream each day.

Working Hard?

Justin and Chris Davis working hard as tower judges. What you can't see from the picture is that the gates at each end are on video monitors. So they watched gate 1, followed the pass and then exit gates. Very cool set up and all from the comfort of an air conditioned tower room.
